IncWorx is a Chicago-based consulting firm that helps clients deploy and manage Microsoft’s online collaboration tool, Sharepoint. Here’s how they’re using Compendium to promote thought leadership, shorten sales cycles, and close new business.
The Challenge
When IncWorx first came to Compendium, they were looking to improve their inbound marketing strategy. At the time, their website’s search rankings were poor, and their referrals from Microsoft were nearly non-existent, at only two or three inbound leads a year. IncWorx’s online presence was lacking in a big way. But, luckily, they knew how to fix it: content creation.
The Solution
In order to jumpstart their content creation, IncWorx started blogging using Compendium’s business blogging platform. Compendium’s turn-key software solution allowed IncWorx to start creating blog content just ten days after becoming a Compendium customer. IncWorx took advantage of Compendium’s message meter to create targeted, people-friendly content that would also rank well via search engines. The IncWorx blog is powered by a combination of their salespeople and technical staff. The former creates content pertaining to the advantages of a fully-supported Sharepoint solution, while the latter tells stories about problems their clients have encountered and how they can be fixed.
The Results
This combination of educational content from multiple sources has given the IncWorx team the inbound marketing strategy that it was looking for. Now, the IncWorx blog is generating over 200 unique visits a day (four times the number of daily visits to its website). IncWorx takes advantage of these visits by using strategically placed, Compendium-powered calls-to-action (CTA). These CTAs offer additional resources to prospective customers, and allow IncWorx to capture these prospects’ contact information. In the past 6 months, IncWorx has generated over 700 leads. Paul Haynes, IncWorx’s Senior Account Executive, had this to say about the success: “Our Compendium program has seen an ROI so far over 1000 percent that it would sound like I was making it up if we told you the real number.” Check out the IncWorx blog at http://blog.incworx.com.
