Compendium Releases Integration with Eloqua

By Corey Kime Marketing Operations Specialist

Keeping content from becoming siloed into a single use can be a tough thing for a marketer.  Especially with the wide variety of tools a marketer has to use every single day to get their job done, carving out the time to use a piece of content in multiple marketing channels effectively can be a hard thing to do. That's why Compendium recently finished up its latest integration to help marketers easily use and reuse their content in all of their marketing channels.  The latest integration was done with marketing automation provider Eloqua.  With this integration, marketers can now take content that was created within their Compendium application and easily pass it to Eloqua for use.  This integration allows marketers to save time, get the most out of their content, and tell a consistent story across all of their marketing channels.

How Can I Use This Integration?

Create a Weekly Newsletter

Newsletters are a great way to keep both current clients, as well as prospects, engaged with you as a brand because they give you the opportunity to send fresh and engaging content on a consistent basis.  Content that is published through the Compendium application fits the 'fresh' and 'engaging' role perfectly, so it makes perfect sense to reuse that content in your newsletter campaigns.  With this integration it is easier to create newsletters then ever before, because you can simply grab content within Eloqua that you have already pushed over from Compendium.

Add Content to Your Nurturing and Email Campaigns

Content that is created in the Compendium can supplement any nurturing or email campaign very well.  There may be particular campaigns you create that will require some 'softer content' (content that is not gated and is free for consumption) intermixed with more 'hard sell' content.  Content created in our application can be a perfect supplement and can be created in a relatively short time if you need the content in a hurry.

Liven Up Your Landing and Thank You Pages

Depending on your goal for the landing page you are creating, adding in some additional content that is highly targeted at the purpose of the landing page may be very useful.  Or you may be looking for a way to keep a visitor to your site engaged beyond the thank you page, so putting a piece of content that is related to whatever the person just got may make great sense to keep them engaged.  Thanks to our integration that can be easy to do by simply adding your content already created in Compendium on to an Eloqua landing page.

If you'd like to learn more about the integration, feel free to contact us and we'd be happy to answer any questions!

5 Key Questions to Ask Before Developing Customer Personas

Let’s be very clear about one thing: The only way to ensure that an investment in content marketing will pay off is to know your target audience. And the more narrowly you focus your content based on that knowledge, the more effective your strategy will be. You see, most businesses have a broad customer base. And within that broad base are niche...

Use Content to Fuel Location Based Marketing

What exactly is "Location Based Marketing"?  This really just refers to marketing delivered to a person based on their location.   In the very early days of online and mobile there was this idea that when a person walked by your store you would text them an offer.   A few years later it was Foursquare and the others who allowed you to 'check in'...

Customer Personas: How Many Do You Need?

It’s a common question: How many personas should a business develop as part of an effective content strategy? Our answer: the right number. OK, so that’s a bit cryptic. But the point is there’s no magic formula for the number of personas that will drive the best results for your content marketing program. As you analyze your audience data to...
