We're Officially the Best Business Blogging Software Platform

By James Paden Vice President of Product

We're not perfect, but we truly believe we're the best blogging platform for most businesses.  Managing a blogging program with Compendium is signficantly easier than using any other platform.  To that effect, we've named our latest release Version 3.0.  Since our last major version release we've:
  • Redesigned most of the platform
  • Added very flexible approval workflows and layers
  • Rebuilt our social media integration to include author promotions and scheduled promotions
  • Built the world's most advanced categorization system including auto-categorization and default categories for authors
  • Begun gamifying the content creation process by incentivising authors with public Author Leaderboard and Top Posts lists
  • Redesigned our Google Analytics integration to include author performance data
  • Added 301 redirect management directly into the application
  • Rebuilt our Wordpress importer (due to additional new clients switching from Wordpress) to migrate all images and files into our CDN
  • Upgraded our database caching to ensure even faster load times
  • And made many, many other small tweaks
These upgrades have really made managing a business blog easier, saving our clients time and money, which lets them focus on actually creating content.

Version 3 is our announcement to the world that blog management can be lot less painful.  We're moving on to Version 4 and solving other problems.  I'll say more over the next few months ;)
