We want to make our clients better content marketers, which is why Compendium will soon include a content calendar (CMI has a great blog post on content calendars for those unfamiliar with the term). The calendar provides our clients with a master overview of all content that is scheduled for future release, regardless of whether it's a draft, pending approval or approved. Essentially, it is a tool to help clients consistently generate quality content. Over the next few weeks, we have released or will release new features to improve our clients ability to create an effective content calendar:
Schedule for Future Release while Moderating - Released June 15th

It hasn't always been easy for our blogging administrators to schedule a post for future release. Now, during the moderation process, they can simply check the box to "Schedule for future release" directly within the Admin Moderation Panel and then select the date and time for publication. This greatly streamlines the process of future-dating blog posts.
Assign Posts - Released June 22nd

On the 22nd, we're adding the ability to assign a post to a user which lets adminstrators tell their authors what to write about and when the post will be published. Once assigned, the author is sent an email and the post will become a draft in their account.
Content Calendar - Released June 29th

Now that our clients have the ability to more effectively schedule and assign posts, on June 29th we'll release the content calendar. With the calendar, administrators can easily view those posts that have been scheduled for future release, assigned to users, awaiting moderation, or approved.
This is just the first version of our content calendar and we plan to continue to expand the power of the Compendium platform in this area through additional features and tools. If you have specific feedback regarding the content calendar, please leave a comment on this post. I'm responsible for the direction of the Compendium platform and I'd love to hear your feedback!
