Why is blogging important to Rick?

Because:

  • Time is important (time kills deals – people need to move fast)
  • Competitiveness is important (my target customers must know more and move quicker than their competition)
  • The internet is important
  • Search is important
  • Google is important
  • Baidu is important
  • 3rd-party endorsements are important (when I am forwarded, I win)
  • Mobile is important (increasingly, people have no desks, they work on the fly, 24/7)
  • Authenticity is important (no Madison Avenue spin-meisters, no stock photography, no spokesmodels)
  • Brand & image are important (it’s not who you know, it’s who knows you!)
  • Long-tail is important (My target audience needs highly-specialized wisdom on extremely specific topics.)

For these reasons I have adopted a simple mantra: CONTENT►CONTACT►CASH

In essence, this mantra reminds my team that our rich, specific, focused information is highly desirable by our target audience. We aim to “be the answer, today, to the question the customer will ask tomorrow” by publishing rich CONTENT in our 72 blogs.

The combination of our authentic, real, approachable engineers creating and publishing long-tail, compelling CONTENT and the world operating at “the speed of search” compels our target audience to CONTACT our experts (people who can back it up). This process assures us that we are dealing with bona fide customers who are opt-in, urgent, self-qualified, highly-qualified, and appreciative of our highly technical, high-service value proposition. Customers pay CASH for immediate and meaningful value that they prize and require.  It is a true WIN:WIN scenario.
