The incentive provided was a key element in the strategy and is often a great idea for email campaigns, contests, promotions etc. Stay tuned for additional tests and updates on results!
After the first version of the emails went out, a new campaign was developed to promote additional Facebook Fans for Dishwasher Magic and user generated content for the blog. As a reminder, the first campaign was done as follows:
- Anyone who signed up for coupons in the past received an email asking if they had used their coupon.
- If not, they were encouraged to reprint the coupon and go purchase the product.
- If so, they are given the option to write a review which will then be posted on the blog. Once posted, they can share that link with their friends/family if they so choose.
- In all of this, a reminder campaign will also be sent out to encourage those that did purchase to write a post if they did not take the opportunity the first time around.
