July Product Feature Thursday Replay

By Lee Jorgenson Senior Account Manager

Features seem to be released almost daily here at Compendium, and this month we chose to highlight the Author Profiles feature.  Author Profiles give your bloggers the ability to upload their photo and share some personal information (contact info, bio, etc) to enhance their connection with your readers.

Here is a list of information you can upload using author profiles:

  • Bio
  • Image
  • Social networks and website links
  • Contact information/title
  • Blog title and description

What are the benefits of using author profiles?

  • They help your readers connect with your authors
  • Put a face to a name
    • Replace the need for Gravatars
  • Provide credibility in the bio by giving background on your authors
  • Humanize your content by showcasing the real people behind your posts
  • Incentivize your bloggers to write more by giving them more exposure
  • Guide readers as to what authors will write about by looking at their blog description

Tune in to the webinar replay below to hear more about author profiles and learn how to set them up on your blog today.
