Site Owners Hating on Facebook's Broken Like Button

Over the weekend, site owners who had installed the much-hyped Facebook Like button noticed that the buttons were no longer working properly.  Clicking on the button yielded an error message.  We observed this issue with our own clients' blogs who have rolled out the button.

In our own efforts to research the problem, we turned up a discussion thread and bug report (99 comments strong, as of this post writing) on Facebook's developer site that confirms the existence of the issue.
