Help, I've Run Out of Blog Post Ideas!

When talking to clients, I often hear the same comments:

"I don't know what to write about anymore."
"I've run out of ideas."
"Is it really that important that I frequently post?"
 
We know. Posting isn't always easy. Getting new blog posts online frequently is often not the top priority for an employee when he or she sits down with the morning coffee (maybe it should be, but that's another post entirely).  

Often, I think clients get intimidated by posting frequently because they just aren't quite sure what to write, and they think what they do write needs to be a "New-York-Times-worthy" piece. This really isn't the case.

For example, let me provide you with a great example of what one client did for his posting strategy throughout October.

31 Reasons Not to be Afraid of Digital Signage 
31 Reasons Not to be Afraid of Digital Signage—it sounds simple enough! Each day during the month of October, MediaTile created a piece of content discussing why their product is so great, and why you should not be afraid of using it. The best part? These posts were easy for them to write! Each day, they knew the topic to focus on, and given that they know their product best, it wasn't hard for them to come up with 31 reasons.

Oh, did you catch the holiday fun in there? October...  "reasons not to be afraid"...  They threw in some cute ghost pictures, and voila! The perfect blog posts that were both strong in content and very season-relevant.  

You can use this idea for any season!:

- "30 reasons to be thankful for [insert product name here]"
- "31 days of gift giving, why [insert product name here] will thrill your loved one"
- and more!
