Custom Content is Catching On

These days, you may notice that you've been hearing more and more about the term "Custom Content."  But what exactly is custom content?  And why is the tide turning towards it?  

Custom content is just what it sounds like - it's content that is customized for your organization.  Long gone are the days of generic print media and one statement for your marketing campaign.  These days, your company needs to have a voice.  You can use the voice in a variety of ways, but it is important that it's yours.

Some awesome stats to note:

  • 35% of CMOs surveyed believe that custom content marketing is the future of marketing, versus 19% in 2006.
  • 73% of consumers prefer to get information from a company in the form of a collection of articles over an advertisement.
  • 61% feel better about a company that delivers custom content AND are in turn more likely to buy from that company.
